Montessori Concepts and Programs in the Mainstream

People often come to me excited about a "new" program some school is trying, or "new" information on the best practices for teaching. More often than not, this "new" program is really a component of Montessori Education. Over the years, I have collected an extensive group of articles about such programs or theories and have placed them here.

I'm excited that "traditional education" is beginning to see the need for an integrated, comprehensive, multi-modality approach to education that looks at the whole child, but I need to say that often, if just one component of any educational Method is implemented, that activity or strategy doesn't work as well as if the WHOLE method was implemented.
